Washington now ranks 46th in class size.
Washington is now 45th in per-pupil spending.
Yikes! We’re getting worse.

Smaller class size is pretty much a no brainer now, there is too much research completed to be arguing about its effectiveness. The big piece is the cost of making smaller classes – the extra cost in real dollars. Here some good research sites to fortify smaller class size arguments:

We have 34 kids per class maximum, and there are loopholes that let them add up to 17 more kids in “singleton” classes, where there aren’t other sections.
That is scary too! I don’t understand how the “leaders” of education can’t see the harm done to the students when classes are overcrowded.
