I’ve Got A New Job (Kinda)

Today I officially heard from the administration I’m the new English Department Head. Woo-hoo for me. 
I got the official word around 2:30 this afternoon, and then I received 7 e-mails and 5 phone calls regarding business items people in my department wanted me to help them with. Word travels fast in this town!
Starting tomorrow I’m going in to work full-time to get a head start on everything. I hope to post each day in the evening, so please stay posted (ha – pun intended) for more information as I learn more.
Let the meetings begin!

Scares me too. Ours is quite the interesting collection, so it will be an experience to say the least.
