    Did I only get half of the article? It didn’t really tell me much though, whenever I hear stories like this one seems to be (Stand and Deliver sorts of tales), I can’t help but think that successes like these, by necessity, have to be team efforts. Yes, leaders are important in creating a culture, but there HAS to be buy-in from both teachers AND students for those leaders to be effective.

    I’m just sayin’…

    I do think, though, that a leader of excellence is required to bring everyone together. Being in a building which has become fractured by a lack of vision and trust, I would love to have a charismatic, effective leader to bring all of us together.
